We would like to say a very big Thank You to you all for making a special day (Jocef's Christening) even more special! The food, room and fininshing touches were excellent. Thanks once again.

A very nice warm and welcoming pub with a good selection of ales and wines. There's a large beer garden with enough space to keep children amused, ideal for lazy summer days. The most impressive element of the pub is the food. I have eaten in the pub on quite a few occasions now and have never been disappointed with the service or quality of the food. As Ramsay would say its 'Good honest locally sourced food' at a sensible price. What are you waiting for book a table and enjoy the food!

We moved here last year and before Richard and Sue took over The Pheasant wasn't the most attractive pub in the area. Since they took over, they have transformed the place and I would unreservedly recommend it to anyone. The food is excellent, varied and original. Don't take my word for it, go there and see for yourself.

Just a quick e-mail to say thankyou so much for helping to make Grace's Christening celebration such a wonderful day. Our guests all commented on how impressed they were with the service that they received and on how nice the buffet was. Both Sharon and I were very happy with the food and service also.

As you may recall it was a very hot day and the air conditioning was greatly appreciated by all. We will not hesitate to recommend the Pheasant in the future.

 We've just realised that after our first visit to the Pheasant last week, (and after being desperate to find a local for great food for 12 years!!) - we were so impressed with the food, which was not only presented well, tasted really great too! and was great value for money. The staff  were really helpful and friendly too - bonus!!

However... we've been telling everyone else how great the food was -  but we didn't tell YOU how great we thought you were!!
